There are many ways community members like you can get involved in promoting marriage equality and LGBT acceptance in your community. Here are just a few:
> Sign up on API Equality's listserv and get updates on current events and activities. Knowledge is power; be informed and sign up today!
> Write an op-ed in support of marriage equality to your local API paper. Please contact us if you need help writing the op-ed or getting it published.
> Tell your friends and family members about why you support marriage equality and encourage them to support the issue too. Hand out brochures from API Equality to educate them on the issues.
> Become an active member of one of API Equality's local partners and help promote marriage equality right in your own community. Click here for information about API Equality-LA or API Equality-SF.
> Volunteer or intern with API Equality at our main office in San Francisco's Chinatown. We are especially in need of help from individuals with speaking or written fluency in an API language. Contact us for more information.
